About Me

I’ve been a freelance illustrator in Chicago since about January 2014. I left a soul-sucking career in banking and haven’t looked back! Whether it’s creating storyboards for a feature film or a poster for a local musician, I love working with clients to bring their ideas to life in a personally stylized and visually stimulating way.

Not located in Chicago and need some artwork? No problem! Thanks to this fantastic thing called the Internet, I have no problem working remotely and will do everything I can to make it as smooth as possible.

Along with the whole freelancing thing, I’m also a Partner & Visual Artist with the production company Getaway Plane. We have a lot of cool films and projects in the works, but in the meantime check out our team’s first film Dead Draw – available now to rent or own through Amazon!

Anything else you want to know? Favorite foods? Shoe size? What books am I reading? Please don’t hesitate to ask!

I could not possibly do what I do (and survive) without my amazing clients and the awesome opportunities they’ve provided! I am truly grateful for those listed below…

“In addition to being a superb illustrator, Adam listens carefully to what you need, anticipates solutions and offers great suggestions for the drawing, making sure you are 100% satisfied. He took my concept to a much higher level than I expected and I couldn’t have asked for a better job. Highly recommended.”
